Scope of Work:
The scope of this project includes renovating the existing middle school and expanding its facilities to accommodate a student capacity of 700 students. Renovations will enhance interior finishes, upgrade mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and technological systems, ensuring a modernized learning environment. The new additions will include spaces for fine arts and special education, a secured main entry vestibule and administration area, updated science labs, and new media center. Additionally, a new fire sprinkler system will be installed throughout both the renovated areas and the new expansions.
Construction is expected to begin September 2025 and be substantially complete in September 2027 and ready for the Fall semester 2027.

All 2021 Capital Improvement construction procurement responses must be submitted electronically through the electronic bid system. That system can be found at https://fwisd.ionwave.net/.
BID DATE:
Completed CSP Package Parts 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C must be submitted through IonWave no later than 7/1/2025, before 3:00 P.M. CDT. Any materials received after the respective closing date/times will not be considered.
The District will open and read the names of the proposers and prices submitted in responsive CSPs, 7/1/2025 at 3:00 P.M. CDT upon submittal of Part 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C of the Package, at the Fort Worth ISD Central
Administration Building, at 7060 Camp Bowie, Fort Worth, TX 76116. No further information will be publicly released until after the date the Agenda is publicized for the Board of Education meeting.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, proposals, CSPs, or statements of qualification and to waive technicalities.
